TURA: The Garo Hills State Movement Committee (GHSMC) has opposed the toll collection from vehicles parked at the Tura Civil Hospital and even threatened to resort to agitation if the “illegal practice” is not stopped immediately. “The Tura Civil Hospital and its premises is public property which is being run by the state government for the interest of the general public. Therefore, the order passed by the district administration for collection of parking fees is illegal as per law,” the GHSMC said.
