SHILLONG: United XI defeated Nongthymmai SCC by 88 runs in the league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo on Tuesday.
Nongthymmai SCC won the toss and put United XI into bat. United XI scored 192 runs losing 8 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Jason Lamare topscore with 78 runs of 87 balls and Babloo Passah scored 31 runs of 55 balls.
In reply, Nongthymmai SCC were dismissed for 104 runs in 33.1 overs. Wanlam Lyngwa scored 26 runs of 34 balls while Rohit Chettri scored 21 runs of 42 balls.
