Shillong Lajong FC defeat Nangkiew Irat SC

SHILLONG: Shillong Lajong FC U15 Team defeated Nangkiew Irat Sports Club 3-1 in the ongoing Shillong Sports Association U-15 Football Tournament in Polo Ground on Thursday.
The U-15 SSA Football Tournament is being played for a total of 60 minutes.
The Juniors Reds started the First Half brightly and took the lead when young Lajong Midfielder Batskhem headed the ball into the net in the 17th minute. The Young Boys in Red clearly had more possession of the ball and were the much stronger side on the picth on Thursday.
The Junior Reds started the second half all guns blazing and doubled their lead when Dame’s cross found Donbok who made no mistake and slotted the ball home in the 35th minute. Donbok scored his second goal and the third for Lajong from inside the box in the 55th minute.
Nangkiew Irat managed to score a consolation goal when Arki Myrthong netted the ball into the far left corner in the 58th minute.
