Six truckers held in NGH

SHILLONG: Police have arrested six truckers for fleeing leaving their coal-laden vehicles stranded on National Highway 62 in North Garo Hills District.
Police informed that on February 8 night, during checking of coal-laden trucks at Depa-Sarangma Weighbridge, drivers of trucks with registration numbers – AS-01-3837, AS-19C-4926, AS-01U-5235, AS-01D-9445, ML-09A-0725, ML-09A-2429, AS-18C-1418, AS-01-CC-2372, AS-18C-4670 and AS-18-9292 fled away leaving their respective vehicle stranded on NH-62.
