Grassroots event concludes
Grassroots celebrated the last day of its 2nd annual Winter Hive, an annual event for children, recently. The four-week camp culminated with the children showcasing what they had learnt. All activities encouraged team work and co-ordination. The camp’s aim was to encourage children to explore their creativity and find solutions to everyday problems. The children also went all green using only recyclable items to express their creativity.
NCP appointment
The NCP has appointed Islam Hoque Choudhury as the chairman of the minority cell of the party for the state of Meghalaya. The party hoped that at least one MLA from the minority community would be elected to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly in 2018 elections.
