National Lok Adalat held at Resubelpara

RESUBELPARA:  The National Lok Adalat, for disposing off and settling the cases relating to Bank and Bakijai in North Garo Hills, was held at Resubelpara in the office of the Deputy Commissioner on Feb 14.
On the day, out of a total number of 100 borrowers from Dainadubi, Adokgre, Mendipathar, Resubelpara, Bajengdoba and Kharkutta, only 30 turned up for hearing. A total of 25 and 18 cases were respectively settled and disposed off. The Lok Adalat also recovered Rs. 1,53,185 and Rs. 16,947 from bank and bakijai cases respectively.
