Super Div cricket: Lawmali thrash Riatsamthiah

SHILLONG: Lawmali Pyllun defeated Riatsamthiah SC by 89 runs in a league match of the Super Division Shillong Cricket League organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo on Tuesday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Lawmali put up a big total of 226/7 in the allotted 40 overs riding on Lachu Chettri’s 111 of 119 balls.  Adino Mawlong with figures of 3/38 was the pick of the bowlers for Riatsamthiah.
In reply, Riatsamthiah were bundled out for a paltry for 137 in 34.1 overs. Only Wallam Lyngdoh (42 off 41 balls) offered some resistance to take his side to a respectable total. Bhuwan Thapa and Basu Chettri grabbed 3 wickets each for Lawmali who registered a comfortable win.
