SHILLONG:  Home Minister Roshan Warjri on Tuesday said that the Government was committed to find out the truth regarding the death of police officer PJ Marbaniang, and asserted that no one will be spared if found guilty.
There were contradicting reports on the manner in which the police officer died on January 24 night  with some quarters raising the angle of alleged involvement of police in the crime.
However, speaking to reporters on Tuesday , the Home Minister, who is monitoring the progress of inquiry, said that none one will be spared if the inquiry report fixes responsibility.
“We are committed to find out the truth and action will be taken as per the findings”, Warjri said.
Expressing  trust in the Special Investigation Team, Warjri said that sufficient time is given  for SIT to probe the matter and find out the truth.
It was on February 4 that SIT was formed by the Government after registering a murder case.
