SHILLONG: The Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Secretary, officers and staff of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly have expressed their grief and sorrow on the sudden demise of Clifford Marak.
H Mylliemngap, Secretary of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, in a condolence message to the wife of late Marak said, “Clifford Marak was very active member and he actively participated in almost every subject in the House.”
“The sudden passing away of Clifford Marak is a great loss not only to his family members but also to the people of the State in general and Garo Hills in particular,” the statement added.
