SHILLONG: Meghalaya DGP Rajiv Mehta has appointed IGP (Administration and Operations) GHP Raju as the nodal officer of the Police department for media with immediate effect and until further orders.
The DGP said that Raju will brief media on important events relating to the department after receiving necessary details of events from the respective District and Unit heads of the Police department.
