Actress Esha Deol, who has taken on the role of a judge on “MTV Roadies X2”, says her father and Bollywood super-star Dharmendra is a die-hard Punjabi, and so she ch-ose to include a Sikh mem-ber in her team on the show.
In the new season, every gang leader, including Esha, Karan Kundra, Vijender Singh and Rannvijay Singh, has five contestants in their team. When it was Esha’s turn to select a final member in her team, she decided to select a Sikh boy named Rajatdeep Singh from Delhi, because she thinks she can work with him in a better way.
“My father is a die-hard Punjabi and I have been brought up in a typical Punjabi household. When I had to choose the last contestant for my team, I chose a Sikh person beca-use I could relate to him, where he’s coming from, his upbringing and knew that we would work well as a team.”This was also the promise I made to my dad of choosing someone I could relate to in my gang,” Esha said in a statement.
After the auditions got over last week, the 12th season of the show — aired on MTV – will start its jour-ney on Saturday.
After making viewers laugh with his portrayal of Biji Pandey in the “Lapa-taganj” series, actor Abbas Khan is all set for light-hearted comic show “Pete-rson Hill”.
“Nawab is a pivotal character in the show from Lucknow. He is a pick-pocket, who will also be the love guru for the residents of Peterson Hill,” Abbas said in a statement. Sumeet Raghavan performs at Rann Utsav Actor Sumeet Ragha-van, who plays Vasant Ghotala in popular alien comedy TV series “Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai”, performed live at the Rann Utsav in Gujarat on the demand of his fans.
As per the sequence, the Ghotala family of the show has headed to Rann of Kutch on their secret mis-sion where Sumeet was asked by the people to sing a song.
“I have personally enjoyed this incredible trip. I was asked to perform by the fans and I could not have let them down. I was a bit nervy at the start of my performance but then I gained confidence with time,” Sumeet said in a statement.(IANS)
