I didn’t go to cops after rape: Madonna
Pop queen Madonna has revealed she did not go to police after getting raped during her early days in New York because she feared humiliation. The 56-year-old “Rebel Heart” star, who first revealed about the incident in 2013, recalled her nightmare once again on Howard Stern Show. The singer said her first year in New York was difficult and she paid a price for being naive, reported E! Online. “I was going to a dance class and the door was locked and I needed money for the payphone,” she explained. “(A man) gave it to me… he was a very friendly guy. I trusted everybody.” The unnamed person persuaded Madonna to make her phone call across the street where he lived. “I was raped. The first year I lived in New York was crazy.” When asked if she ever went to the police and filed charges, Madonna explained that the process was too overwhelming. “You’ve already been violated. It’s just not worth it. It’s too much humiliation,” she said. (PTI)
Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson stabbed by brother
Slipknot’s guitarist Mick Thomson suffered a stab wound in the back of his head after intoxicated fight with his brother Andrew. Both Mick, 41, and Andrew were rushed to a Des Moined hospital on Wednesday morning, reported Ace Showbiz. Slipknot’s lead vocalist Corey Taylor did his own investigation after hearing the news and gave update to fans on Twitter. “In regards to the story about Mick, I’m doing the best I can to find out if he’s alright. I’ll get back to you later,” Corey wrote, before adding, “Mick Update: from what I’ve heard he’s okay. We’re sending him all your thoughts. Thank you for that.” According to Des Moines Register, Clive police said Mick and Andrew were fighting and armed with knives in the front yard of their house at 4:25 AM. Their altercation first happened inside the house, but moved outside after it got physical. When cops arrived at the scene, they found Mick and Andrew, both apparently drunk, with “serious but not life-threatening life wounds.” They were taken to hospital in separate ambulances. Slipknot has upcoming “Prepare for Hell Tour” with Hatebreed in Fort Meyers, Florida on April 25. The band also has a major headlining tour called “Summer’s Last Stand” which is scheduled to kick off July 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida. (PTI)
Nick Gordon had argument with Kristina before bathtub incident
Singer Bobbi Kristina Brown had an argument with boyfriend Nick Gordon the night before she was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home two months back, revealed his mother Michelle Gordon. Michelle opened up on th talk show “Dr Phil” about the events leading up to Brown’s bathtub incident on January 31, sharing intimate details about the night before, reported Us magazine. Gordon’s mother told Dr Phil that her son, 25, and Brown, 22, had partied with a pal on the eve of the incident, returning to their home early Saturday. It was then that their conversation got heated, Michelle explained. “Nick walked away from the argument. He went to another bedroom to fall asleep.” Kristina “went up to her room and drew a bath.” The couple’s friend Max Lomas found Bobbi facedown and unresponsive in a bathtub after the cable repair man said he needed access to her room. “He has blamed himself for the condition she’s in,” Michelle said on “Dr Phil”.
