Dimapur lynching: CBI probe ordered

Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang on Thursday said his government has decided to hand over the March 5 Dimapur lynching probe to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Zeliang said the decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet here on Wednesday night.
“We are going to write to the Centre to probe (by the CBI) the incident on March 5, where a mob broke into the Central Jail in Dimapur and killed a rape accused,” he said. (IANS)
