Hunger strike by women vendors

Imphal:Hundreds of women vendors took part in a relay hunger strike yestersday at Khwairamband keithel, the main market of the city to protest failure of the government to apprehend those involved in the bomb blast in the busy market area which led to death of three persons on March 11.
The women vendors denounced planting of bombs in the market and condemned “failure” of the government to nab the culprits.
The stir will continue until the government apprehends the perpetrators and take up appropriate security measures they demanded. (UNI)
