7 including 4 juveniles held on murder charge

SHILLONG: Seven people including four juveniles have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of one Sainborlang Passah (22) of Pynursla Neng Gate on Sunday.
The accused include Basterwell Khongtani (18), Poiboklang Khongtani (19) and Kennedy Khongsni (18), all hailing from Umkor village, Pynursla.
Police on Tuesday informed   that the deceased had a quarrel with the seven accused at the Mela Bazaar at Urksew village after which a clash followed. The victim was accompanied by four of his friends who did not sustain any injury.
Passah was declared brought dead by the doctors at the Pynursla Community Health Centre (CHC).Police informed that the three accused have been shifted to the district jail while the four others were sent to the juvenile home in Shillong.
