Demand for setting up of anti-dacoity camp

SHILLONG: The A.chik Indigenous Justice Initiative Forum (AIJIF) has demanded setting up of anti dacoity camps in certain areas of North Garo Hills in view of the sharp rise in criminal activities in the region. The AIJIF also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner and SP, North Garo Hills requesting immediate setting up of additional Police camps in the affected areas.
