Cleaning drive at Shangpung

JOWAI: Over 500 students from different schools of Shangpung in West Jaintia Hills along with residents of the area participated in a cleaning drive organized by the Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong, Shangpung village on Thursday. The cleaning drive was initiated by local MLA, Coming Ymbon.
Shangpung is a model village under Sansaad Adash Gram Yojana (SAGY) – a scheme initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with an aim to develop the country from the grassroots level.
