Rangkynsai, Lumbatngen claim victories

Shillong: Rangkynsai defeated Nongrim Hills by 60 runs in the Second Division Knock Out Cricket Tournament 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo, on Sunday.
Electing to bat first, Rangkynsai put up a competitive score of 155 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Manish shah scored a half century with 52 runs off 43 balls and Romel Jyrwa scored 25 runs off 23 balls. Suraj Thapa took 4 wickets for 32 runs and Dheeraj took 1 wicket for 27 runs.
In reply, Nongrim Hills were all out for 95 runs in 16.5 overs. Bikash Gurung scored 33 runs off 36 balls and Silo Momin scored 17 runs off 12 balls. Samuel Mawlong took 3 wickets for 19 runs and Sylverius Lyngdoh took 2 wickets for 13 runs.
In the second match, Lumbatngen defeated Global United by 10 wickets by D/L method. Global United chose to bat and were allout for 63 runs in 16.4 overs. Prasanjit Singha top scored with 20 runs off 22 balls. Pinku Ghosh took 4 wickets for 1 run and Farug Hussain took 2 wickets for 14 runs.
In reply, Lumbatngen scored 34 for no loss before rain interrupted the match. Jaydeep Ghosh scored 17 runs off 21 balls and Sujai Purkayastha 15 runs off 17 balls.
