SHILLONG: The three-day annual celebration of Ramakrishna Mission concluded on Sunday at the Mission’s Laitumkhrah campus with the day dedicated to Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
The person in-charge of Ramakrishna Mission Charitable Dispensary, Laitumkhrah, Swami Prarthananda spoke about the greatness of the Lord from the viewpoints of his disciples.
He said that Ramakrishna taught his followers how to keep God in mind while carrying on with daily chores.
Swami Kripakarananda Maharaj, Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai gave motivating insights from the lives of Ramakrishna in a lighter vein which was well received by the packed hall. Quoting the words of the Lord he said that when God is realized then there is no desire left.
Earlier, special obeisance songs were presented by the students and Brahmacharis of Ramakrishna Mission, Shillong.
