Violations of NGT order
On April 7 at around 1.30 am, police detected one coal-laden truck (AS-01-BC-5054) owned by Bilash Singha and driven by one Marjan Langstang transporting coal belonging to Tyrshan Dkhar at Lad Rymbai in East Jaintia Hills.
On April 7, police detected one coal-laden truck (AS-01-N-6162) owned by Pawan Kumar Sharma and driven by one Same Rymbai transporting coal belonging to Tynshain Siangshai at Lad Rymbai in East Jaintia Hills.
In addition, police also detected one coal-laden truck (ML-04-8448) owned by Kwerin Dkhar and driven by one Lam Pariat transporting coal at Lad Rymbai.
On April 5 around 10.30 pm, Police detected one coal-laden truck (ML-05C-8816) owned by Juliana Slong and driven by one Elbisboy Pariat illegally transporting coal belonging to Mon Pakyntein at Lad Rymbai.
Woman duped by internet friend
One lady lodged a complaint that on April 6, she received a phone call from a lady claiming to be Customs Official at IGI Airport, New Delhi which informed her that a parcel sent by her internet friend Victor Jack Dominic of London has arrived. She asked the complainant to deposit Rs 34,500 for clearance of the same and the amount was deposited in good faith. Later, she realized that she has been cheated.
Theft at NEHU campus
On April 7 at around 9.30 pm, it was found that one gold necklace, two gold rings and Airtel modem with SIM were missing from the residence of Dr. Bharita Das at NEHU Campus, Shillong.
Threat
One lady, lodged a complaint that one Renjini R, demanded Rs. 10 lakh from her to settle a case lodged against her at Shillong Sadar PS and was also illegally monitoring her phone calls.
Abduction
On March 28, while Sebastian M Sangma was proceeding from Williamnagar (EGH) towards Bajengdoba (NGH) by motorcycle (ML-09A-4706), two persons,  Motry Momin and Wanpin G Momin abducted him on the way.
Theft cases
One R. Passah lodged a complaint that on April 7 at around 7.30 am, he found that unknown miscreants had broken open his shop at MUDA Complex, Police Bazar, Shillong and stole shoes, slippers, and others valued around Rs. 31,000.
On April 7 at around 7 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05E-9739) belonging to one  Banlumlang Lyngdoh from Mawiong.
Dr. G.H. Chyrmang, lodged a complaint that between March 9 and March 20, 2015 three persons Paul Mukhim, Wanbud Lyngwar and Aron Pohduna stole three standing Champaca trees valued around Rs. 1,13,283 – from Narpuh Reserve Forest, Block-II, Phar Umkiang (EJH).
On April 5 afternoon, unknown miscreants stole one music system from a Maruti car (ML-05K-5827) belonging to Phidarilin Khongwir at Lumbasuk Nongthymmai, Shillong.
