SHILLONG: The FKJGP Nongthymmai Circle has questioned the allotment of APL ration cards to two people from Tripura who are residing at RR Colony in Rynjah.
The FKJGP members also met the Joint Director of Supply, GS Nongkhlaw here at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday to question this allotment of APL ration cards to the two ‘outsiders’.
The two people have been identified as Khirod Debnath and his wife Namita Nath. “We are surprised to find that the two acquired APL ration cards despite possessing Tripura EPIC cards. We have sought a clarification from the Joint Director on this,” FKJGP, East Khasi Hills president, Elton Warjri said.
