Hoping Stone inaugurates rural works scheme

NONGSTOIN: Nongstoin legislator, Hoping Stone Lyngdoh inaugurated the Special Rural Works Programme (SRWP) Scheme here on Monday.
The Rs 1 cr SRWP Scheme would facilitate the construction of a playground, dorbar hall, sports club, footbridge, footpath etc., within Nongstoin constituency.
Representatives of various organisations and institutions received the work order from the legislator at a function held at New Nongstoin playground.
During the programme, the local headmen highlighted the problems faced by the people of the area. The legislator assured to look into the grievances.
He also informed that some new developmental schemes will be launched shortly in the constituency.
