Kohima: A live grenade has been recovered from below a fly over near Dimapur railway station as informed by the sources.
The sources of the Police officials said that the live grenade was found on Sunday with the ring and the leverdislodged.
The bomb detection and the disposal squad cordoned off the area but however, they later came to discover at the later part of their investigation procedure that the grenade had no firing pin on it.
The police later suspected the notorious incident to be the handiwork of some mischievous and anti social elements that were hell bent upon creating fear among the people of the region. (UNI)
