SHILLONG: The 1st East Khasi Hills District Open Badminton Championship 2015 was inaugurated kicked off at the U Tirot Sing Syiem Indoor Stadium, Lower Lachumiere, on Wednesday.
Altogether 58 matches for boys and girls in the U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 and senior men’s categories were played on first day of the event.
On Thursday a total of 77 matches will be played.
