Aguilera releases second ‘Nashville’ song

Singer Christina Aguilera has released the the studio version of “Shotgun” for the TV series “Nashville”, following last week’s “The Real Thing”. The song was released on Tuesday, and unlike the upbeat “The Real Thing”, the new song is a slow-tempo ballad on which she’s accompanied only by simple acoustic guitar licks, reports aceshowbiz.com.  Aguilera makes a guest starring appearance on “Nashville”, playing a pop star named Jade St. John. She will perform “Shotgun” in the Wednesday, episode of the ABC series.The 34-year-old songstress is currently also serving as a coach on “The Voice” while readying her new album. (IANS)

Taylor Swift followed on social media!

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has started following his girlfriend on social media platform Instagram.
Harris, who only follows 123 people is following the 25-year-old singer on image-sharing website Instagram and has made his affection for the “Love Story” singer known by liking one of her most recent posts – a funny video of her cat Olivia Benson acting like a Meerkat, reports usmagazine.com. Following the awards show in London, Swift, flew to Las Vegas to watch the DJ, perform at Hakasan. The duo then spent time together in Nashville, where Swift’s been rehearsing for her upcoming 1989 world tour, and were photographed holding hands while leaving Troubadour club here.”Tay loves being in love, and the right guy has arrived,” a source told Us Weekly of the singer, who had been adamant about being single prior to hooking up with Harris. “She’s finally with an older guy who’s worldly, smart, and understands the industry. Paris Hilton mourns Tinkerbell’s death

Socialite Paris Hilton is heartbroken after the death of her beloved 14-year-old Chihuahua Tinkerbell. Hilton poured out her feelings in a lengthy post that accompanied a photograph of her cuddling the puppy, on image-sharing website Instagram, reports aceshowbiz.com. “My heart is broken I am so sad and devastated. After 14 amazing years together my baby Tinkerbell has passed away of old age. I feel like I’ve lost a member of my family,” the socialite wrote. “She was such a special and incredible soul. We went through so much together. I can’t believe she’s gone. I will miss her & think about her for the rest of my life. I love you Tinky, you are a Legend & will never be forgotten,” Hilton added. The 34-year-old hotel heiress then posted two other Instagram photographs of Tinkerbell, one of which was from her past reality TV series “The Simple Life”. She captioned the image: “Where our journey began… #TheSimpleLife #FirstDogRealityStar #RIPTinkerbell.” The other photograph showed Hilton wearing a tiara while holding Tinkerbell with both hands. She captioned it: “In honor & memory of Tinkerbell I’m dedicating my Instagram page to her today.” (IANS)
