Singing sensation Zayn Malik, while asserting he loves his fans, has asked them to not abuse him for fighting with his former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.
The 22-year-old musician, who quit the band this March, slammed Tomlinson after he indulged in a war of words with producer Naughty Boy, who is working with Malik on his solo material. The ugly Twitter spat invited wrath of the fans for Malik.
Upset over the criticism, he tweeted, “Don’t know why I’m being attacked for defending myself , people got it twisted! I love my fans ?! Every single one of you (sic).”
“Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do,” Tomlinson tweeted earlier, while poking fun at a picture of the singer and his producer friend Naughty Boy.
The producer responded, “@Louis_Tomlinson and some people can’t even sing.. but who’s complaining when there’s auto tune.”
Tomlinson, 23, took a dig at Naught Boy, saying, “@NaughtyBoyMusic Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer… How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career?”
This supposedly angered Malik as he then asked Tomlinson to mind his business, “@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?” Malik’s public outburst towrads a One Direction singer comes just weeks after he thanked all the former members and called the “best guys”, at an award function.
