Khuda Gawah clocks 23 years, Bachchan nostalgic
As epic Bollywood romance drama Khuda Gawah completed 23 years, megastar Amitabh Bachchan fondly remembered the adventure-filled shooting of the film. The 72-year-old actor starred in the Mukul S Anand-directed film alongside Sridevi, Nagarjuna, Shilpa Shirodkar and Danny Denzongpa. “23 years since the release of my film Khuda Gawah, as calculated by Pawan Pipalwa and his creatives abound. Those were days of adventure and exploration. Of travel to far off lands and the learnings of regions which had never been seen before. Or experiences never imagined,” Bachchan posted on his blog. Khuda Gawah had lavish production values and was extensively shot in India, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan. “The travels for the film itself would be awe inspiring – Afghanistan, Nepal, Jaipur and so many other in the deep interiors, bringing us close to the stunning visuals that we see and feel .. extraordinarily captured by that magical eye lens of Mukul Anand, our director, lost to the world at a young age. Hollywood star George Clooney is all praise for his wife Amal Alamuddin’s beauty, style and her high intelligence. The 54-year-old kept gushing about his wife on several occasions while promoting his new film, Tomorrowland, reported a website. “She’s an amazing human being. And she’s caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. And she’s got a great sense of humour,” Clooney said. Commenting on her being a fashion icon, the star said, “It’s amazing, because she’s always – since the day I met her – she’s always had this insanely … it’s eccentric but it’s fun, sense of fashion.” The human rights attorney always looks stylish despite her abundant workload. “How she does it while she’s got 11 cases she’s working on, and she was teaching at Columbia, and she’s still like, ‘I want to wear that dress.’ It’s crazy. Harry Styles upset with Louis Tomlinson over fight with Zayn?
Singer Harry Styles has reportedly been giving his One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson the cold shoulder after his Twitter spat with former member Zayn Malik. Styles, 21, insists Tomlinson’s actions in blasting Zayn, 22, and his producer friend Naughty Boy have damaged the band’s reputation, causing a lot of tension between the pair, reported a website. “Harry is very aware of 1D’s reputation and doesn’t like getting into any public scrapes, especially with other members of the band. “It’s fair to say his relationship with Louis has been strained for some time and the last couple of weeks hasn’t helped matters.” A band insider, however, has said the two have been able to put the spat behind them and they have continued to work side by side on 1D’s new album with Liam Payne and Niall Horan. “Harry and Louis are working together in the studio in Los Angeles on 1D’s next album. They’re fine.” The row between Tomlinson and Malik took place on Wednesday night with the latter blasting his former bandmate for making “bitchy comments”. The spat between the long-time pals, who previously insisted they would remain close despite Zayn leaving the band, erupted after Louis mocked a picture filter Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, used on an image of him and Zayn in the recording studio.(PTI)
