Juvenile thief held

On May 19 around 2 am, Police arrested one juvenile from near Civil Hospital, Shillong and recovered one electric plane and one electric drilling machine from his possession belonging to Ksansing Giri Kharpuri of Lower Lachumiere, Shillong. Two of his accomplices managed to escape.

Misappropriation

One Shanku Paul lodged a complaint that one of his employee namely Gopal Sarkar misappropriated Rs. 14 lakhs and fled away.

ATM theft

Risalin Ryntathiang lodged a complaint that on May 16 evening, unknown miscreants stole her ATM card at Iewduh, Shillong and later withdrew Rs. 40,000 from her account.

Minor missing

Rihana Begum lodged a complaint that her fourteen-year-old daughter has been missing from her residence at 4th Furlong, Shillong, since May 13, 2015.

House burgled

Kajir Tisopi lodged a complaint that on the morning of May 18 unknown miscreants broke into her residence at Langkyrding Mawpat, Shillong, and stole household goods valued around Rs. 3 lakh. In this connection, Police arrested Francis Dkhar (28) and Suraj Sharma (23). Police also arrested one George Nongsteng (34) who had received the stolen goods.
