The Office of the District Medical and Health Officer, East Khasi Hills will conduct a mass mobilization drive for Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) at Sanmer Secondary School at 11 am on September 12. Health and Family Welfare Minister A.L. Hek will be the chief guest on the occasion.

Birth centenary
Chinmaya Mission, Shillong will organise the Chinmaya Jyoti Yatra Sandesh Vahini at 6 pm on September 15 at Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture marking the celebration of the Birth Centenary of Saint Pujya Swami Chinmayananda. The life and teachings of the Saint will be showcased on the occasion. Swami Mitrananda and Swami Chaitan-yananda will be present on the occasion.
