NONGSTOIN: The FKJGP, Nongtraw area unit on Thursday lodged a complaint with the District Medical & Health Officer, West Khasi Hills against “illegal disposal of used materials” by the staff of the health centre at Nongtraw village which is 15 km from Nongstoin.
In a statement issued here on Thursday the FKJGP said that wastes like used drip bottles, pipes, gloves etc., were being dumped in the village thereby polluting the vicinity.  The FKJGP demanded the Health department to conduct an enquiry into the matter and bring the guilty to task.
The FKJGP also demanded the DM&HO to ensure that all the waste materials are removed from the village immediately.
