Cong MLA booked for thrashing construction supervisor

Korba: A Congress legislator has been booked for allegedly thrashing a supervisor of a contractor involved in the construction of a government building in Chhattisgarh’s Balrampur district.
A case was registered against Brihaspat Singh, the MLA from Ramanujganj constituency, on Saturday evening based on a complaint of the victim Ramanath Kushwaha, Balrampur police station’s SHO A R Rathore said.
According to the complaint, Rajesh Singh was given the contract for construction of the building of District Panchyat Resource Centre (DPRC) at Semli Mod area.  (PTI)
