KSU knocks on Delhi door for NEHU VC

SHILLONG: The KSU functionaries both in the state and Delhi have petitioned the President of India to speed up the appointment of NEHU Vice Chancellor.
The KSU also said that a local person should take the leadership of this educational institution.
A delegation of the students’ body met Union Minister of state for Home Kiren Rijiju in Delhi in this regard.
In the letter addressed to the President of India,   Kynpham Kharlyngdoh, KSU Secretary Education Cell  and Simon Duncan Kharsohtun, President of KSU’s Delhi unit said that NEHU is without a permanent Vice Chancellor for the past two and a half years.
