New Delhi: CBI will question former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam, the CBI said on Monday.
According to CBI sources, the agency wants to investigate some of the projects under the NHRM in which some officials are also involved. In order to save the officials involved and to cover up the irregularities found in the investigation of the scam, five persons have been allegedly murdered so far. A charge sheet has been submitted by the CBI against the accused persons and a trial is going on in the CBI court at Ghaziabad. (UNI)
