Kajol to take hygiene message to UN Bollywood actress

Kajol will be attend    ing the United Nations General Assembly and Global Citizen Festival in New York next week, where she will be advocating the importance of a hygienic environment.
“Excited to announce I’ll be at @UN General Assembly & #GlobalCitizen Festival next week supporting the #hygiene cause in the #GlobalGoals,” Kajol tweeted on Monday.
The actress, who is married to actor Ajay Devgn, will be a part of the General Assembly and will also attend the musical fest on September 26 that stars Beyonce, Pearl Jam and Coldplay.
Global Citizen Festival, which marks the launch of ambitious set of global development goals, is a highlight of the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations.
Other names to be a part of the initiative will be Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and Bill and Melinda Gates.
Other than Kajol, singer Sunidhi Chauhan will be taking the sound of Indian music to the foreign shores for a good cause.
Kajol, who is also an advocate for Lifebuoy’s ‘Help A Child Reach Five’ movement, participated in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) summit last year as well. (IANS)
