BSF seizes cattle on international border

SHILLONG: The BSF troops seized 69 cattle at Muktapur, about 8km behind the IB betel nuts garden West Jaintia Hills district, Meghalaya and 17 cattles at Tuka, East Khasi Hills district, Meghalaya worth more than 14 lakh, while being smuggled into Bangladesh from India.
Besides this, BSF troops have also seized more than 943 bottles of Liquor, 1.5 Kg Ganja, approx. 15 Cft Wooden logs, 7 Tons Coal, and other contraband items, worth over Rs 4 Lakh while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh through the Meghalaya border in the last  three days.
