Rapper 50 Cent is suing a former business consult    ant Andrew Jameson in a federal bankruptcy court.     The 40-year-old star filed the lawsuit against Jameson in a federal bankruptcy court in Connecticut on September 22, alleging he improperly acted as his agent and collected fees without his permission, reported Female First.
Among the claims cited in the lawsuit is the allegation that Jameson improperly negotiated a deal for a reality show.
In July, the “Candy Shop” star, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed for bankruptcy protection after a New York City jury ordered him to pay USD 7 million to a woman, who claimed he posted online a sex tape that she’d made with a boyfriend.
However, he subsequently insisted he only filed for bankruptcy to protect his assets.
“You get a bullseye painted on your back when you’re successful, and it’s public, you become the ideal person for lawsuits,” he had said.
Meanwhile, the rapper’s recently-released bankruptcy filings revealed he has expenses of USD 108,000 a month, of which USD 1,000 is spent on his appearance, USD 3,000 on his wardrobe, USD 9,000 on security and USD 5,000 on gardening. The majority of his costs are the USD 72,000 a month he pays for his 50-room mansion, including bills, mortgage, insurance and property tax. (PTI)
