Theft
On September 25 at around 12 noon, one Papu stole a mobile phone from the house of Arati Sharma at Nongrimmaw Block-C, Laitumkhrah.
On September 25 at around 7 pm, unknown miscreants stole one car tape from a Maruti Alto (ML-05L-3768) belonging to Kerlin Khongjee which was parked at Jaiaw Lumsyntiew, Shillong.
Assault
On September 25 at around 7 pm, one Santanu Borthakur (39) assaulted Jitumoni Hajong (39) in a local taxi (ML-05E-8516) at Mawdiangdiang (EKH). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Margaret Suchiang lodged a complaint that September 12, one Riya Sangma during a birthday celebration in her (Riya Sangma) residence at Lawmali, played loud music and disturbed the neighbours. At around 2 am, the complainant asked her to stop the music but instead Riya Sangma and her associates assaulted the complainant  and her family members and also threatened them with dire consequences.
