The Extra Assistant Commissioner in charge Western Ri Bhoi Administrative Unit, Patharkhmah, has issued an order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting heavy vehicles, like loaded trucks and buses from plying through the Umling-Patharkhmah bridge as said bridge over the Umtru river is in a weak condition.
