Rangbah Shnong among six held

SHILLONG: Police on Tuesday arrested six persons including   the Rangbah Shnong   of   Mawlaitang village  and some members of Seng Kynthei    for allegedly  discriminating  a disabled woman by   not allowing her  to teach at Mawlaiteng Govt LP School, on the outskirts of Shillong.
However, all the six persons were later released on bail.  The victim, Aidalin Nongrang (28) in her FIR alleged that some people of Mawlaiteng village opposed her appointment on the ground that she was a handicapped person and was not allowed to teach in the school.
