SHILLONG: An eight-year-old boy died after he fell into a pond at Umlyngka, Upper Shillong while playing.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when the boy, Banshanbor Malngiang fell into the pond. The victim was brought to Woodland Hospital, Shillong where he was declared dead.
