SHILLONG: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills through the Chief Minister’s Youth for Green Campaign Movement will observe the first anniversary of the launch of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at 9:00 AM on October 2 at Police Bazar.
Governor V. Shanmuganathan will grace the programme as the Chief Guest while Home Minister Roshan Warjri will be the Guest of Honour.
The programme will be followed by a cleaning drive in Police Bazaar and its adjoining areas.
The District Administration has urged the public to participate in the programme.
