SHILLONG: Niaw Wasa Youth Federation (NWYF), has opposed the manner of job allotment to the youths in JHADC.
In a statement issued to the media, P.Rymbai, President of   NWYF alleged that the appointments were not made according to the council’s service rule.
They claimed, “The EC did not notify any advertisement, and they are employing their relatives”.
This has angered a section of the youth who are seeking employment to the posts of LDA, Peon, Forest guard and Forester, NWYF added.
The NWYF has condemned the executive committee of Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) headed by CEM Thombor Shiwat in this regard. It also pointed out that the EC had neglected the deserving youths.
At the same time, the NWYF supported opposition leader, Marki Mulieh, as he had taken the initiative to speak out and demanded that such manner of employment should be stopped in JHADC.
