SHILLONG: West Khasi Hills police recently detained three trucks for transporting coal in violation of the NGT order. The drivers and the handymen of the vehicles were also arrested.
The trucks, (AS-01AD-5677) driven by Rahul Ch. Das (47), (AS-01DD-1767) driven by Saidul Islam (28) and (AS-18C-5975) driven by Rakesh Talukdar (28) were detained at Riangdo in WKH.
