DC notice to voters

TURA: In order to prevent impersonation and safeguard the rights of the genuine electors in the upcoming GHADC elections the Deputy Commissioner, South Garo Hills has advised all voters in the district to produce identification documents at the time of voting.
The voters may produce any one of the following documents like; EPIC issued by the Election Department, passport, driving license, income tax identity (PAN Card), service identity cards having photographs issued to its employees by the State/Central Government/public sector undertakings/local bodies or public limited companies, passbook with photograph issued by the public sector banks/ post office and kissan passbook, SC/ST/OBC certificates with photographs issued by the competent authority, Pension documents such as Ex-Servicemen’s Pension Book/Pension Payment Order/Widow Pension Order with photograph, Arms license with photograph, certificate of physical handicapped with photograph issued by the competent authority, health insurance scheme smart card with photograph, property document with photograph such as pattas,  Registered Deeds etc and job cards with photograph under the National Employment Guarantee Scheme.
