Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher enjoy Oktoberfest fete
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher donned outfits in spired by traditional Bavarian attire as they got into the Oktoberfest spirit in Beverly Hills. The newlyweds, and parents of daughter Wyatt Isabelle, one, wore matching ensembles of white button-up shirts, suspenders, and corduroy shorts, rolled up above the knee. In 37-year-old Kutcher’s case, he finished his getup with a pair of tube socks and camel-colored hiking boots. Both of the former That ’70s Show stars appeared to be relaxing and enjoying one another’s company as well as the cultural food options at the local event. And Kunis, 32, showed off her svelte, post-baby figure in her lederhosen-inspired outfit. (PTI)
George Lopez to star in Aloha Santa
Actor-comedian George Lopez is set to star in the upcoming comedy “Aloha Santa”, which will begin production in Maui in December.
Lopez stars as Chris Cringle, the immature adopted son of Santa Claus, who finds his world turned upside down when his father passes on and leaves the duties of being Santa Claus to him. Lopez’s newly appointed Santa Claus accidentally crash lands in Hawaii during a test flight and must now figure out a way to get home in time for Christmas.
The film will be directed by Jonathan Yudis, who also co-wrote the film with Adam ‘Tex’ Davis and Mike Davis. Lopez starred on the FX sitcom “Saint George” and also produced and starred in “Spare Parts” which was released earlier this year. (PTI)
Stevie Wonder divorced
Music legend Stevie Wonder has finalised divorce from second wife Kai Millard Morris. The pair, who have two sons together, has been separated since 2009, reported People magazine. Wonder, 65, and Morris will share custody of their children, but the Grammy-winning singer will also be expected to pay USD 25,000 a month in child support, reported People magazine.
The singer and the fashion designer wed in 2001. The blind star became a father for the ninth time last year when his girlfriend Tomeeka Robyn Bracy gave birth to daughter Nia. (PTI)
Tom Hanks would officiate more weddings if the fee is right
Academy-award winning actor Tom Hanks has joked he is ready to officiate more weddings if people can “afford the fee”. The Captain Phillips star oversaw the secret wedding of Girls actress Allison Williams and her entrepreneur beau Ricky Van Veen last month, reported New York Daily News. Asked if he would be up for marrying another couple, Hanks joked, “If people can afford the fee!”
The 59-year-old actor took a course to be ordained for the ceremony at the luxury Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, which means he is now “available for weddings.” Hanks had earlier said,”I studied the divinity. I studied as a minister for nearly USD 35. Out of that I have a certificate that makes me available for weddings.” (PTI)
Ellen Page in talks to star in Flatliners reboot
Actress Ellen Page is in talks to star in a remake of 1990 sci-fi thriller Flatliners directed by Joel Schu macher. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo helmer, Niels Arden Oplev will direct the project, reported Variety. David Blackman and Laurence Mark are producing the film penned by Ben Ripley. The original film had famous Hollywood faces like Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland, Oliver Platt, William Baldwin and Kevin Bacon.(PTI)
