Militant apprehended in Manipur

Imphal: A militant of outlawed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup has been nabbed by Assam Rifles personnel during frisking and checking at Nongada village in Imphal East district.
A press release issued by Assam Rifles said on Saturday the militant was identified as Mutum Noren (23) of Nongada village.He had joined KYKL in 2008 and had got training in Bangladesh for 70 days, the AR press release said. The militant who was apprehended yesterday was handed over to Lamlai police station for further investigation said the release. (PTI)
