Jack Black was a cocaine addict during his teens
Actor Jack Black has opened up about his struggle with drugs saying he was addicted to cocaine when he was 14 years old. The 46-year-old actor got into drugs fours years after his parents divorced, reported a website. “I remember just lots of turmoil from that time period. I was having a lot of troubles with cocaine… I was hanging out with some pretty rough characters. I was scared to go to school (because) one of them wanted to kill me. I wanted to get out of there,” Jack said. The School of Rock star felt he had no one to turn up to in the family and decided to confess everything to the school therapist. “I spilled my guts, telling him I felt guilty about stealing from my mom to get money for cocaine. I cried like a baby. It was a huge release and a huge relief. I left feeling euphoric, like an enormous weight had been lifted from me. It changed me,” he recalled. (PTI)
Gwyneth Paltrow is godmother to Ryan Murphy’s son
Gwyneth Paltrow and Ryan Murphy are close pals and the “American Horror Story” creator revealed that the actress is his son Ford’s godmother. Murphy, 49, and his husband David Miller have two sons, Logan Phineas born on Christmas eve 2012 and one-year-old Ford. While presenting Paltrow, 43, with a Lifetime Impact Award for her work with LA Kitchen, Murphy said he made a list of qualities he would like his godmother to have, reported a website. “I wanted her to be kind and compassionate, spiritual, funny, basically a balm to sooth in this dark and cynical world. It was also important to me that my child’s godmother have a best actress Oscar,” Murphy said. “So I called my good friend Gwyneth Paltrow and I asked her if she would have us and she said yes and I consider my family to be blessed as a result,” he added. Paltrow, who won an Emmy for her work on Murphy’s “Glee”, was touched with his speech and thanked him for being in her life. “Thank you, Ryan. That was so beautiful. I am so blessed to be your friend and in the lives of you and David and the kids,” she said. (PTI)

Singer Ariana Grande teased her fans with the snip pets of music video her duet with Italian classical music star Andrea Bocelli. The 22-year-old took to Facebook to share the clip in which she is seen performing the ballad with Bocelli, 57, superimposed over a city background, reported a website. “The music video for ‘E Piu Te Penso’ with Andrea Bocelli comes out next Tuesday Oct 13th on Vevo!,” she captioned the video. “To have a record with Andrea is just so surreal and so special, and something that I never thought would happen,” the Break Free hitmaker previously said. The couple – who have an estimated joint worth of 500 million pounds – spare no expense to ensure they have the best time on their trips, and have enjoyed breaks to Florence, Hawaii, Paris, Thailand, and the Caribbean, as well a Mediterranean tour on a superyacht in recent months, reported a website. “They both have so much money that a 20 million pounds budget for holidays is no big deal. When they’re away, it’s one VIP day out after another. They spend an insane amount of money but say it’s more than worth it as they always have the best time,” a source said. The couple’s travel alone regularly costs them 1 million pounds per trip as they insist on jetting off in style. And the pair – who have three-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together – generally spend 5,000 poundsa night to secure villas with their own private beaches, though in Thailand their villa cost 12,5000 pounds a night and in Florence, Italy, they stayed in a 11,000 pounds-a-night suite.
