Rape
On October 12, Agnes Kharshiing lodged a complaint that one Prostor Wahlang raped two minor girls (7 years & 11 years respectively) in his residence at Nongrah, Shillong.
Body recovered
On October 11, around noon, body of a newborn baby girl was recovered from Umkaliar River, Shillong. Necessary formalities were observed and cadaver was sent to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
On October 9 around 2.30 pm, Police recovered one unidentified male body from a jungle near Sonapur (East Jaintia Hills). It is suspected that the deceased was murdered by unknown miscreants.
Accident
On October 10, around 2:30 pm, one motorcycle (MZ-01H-7289) ridden by Lalramlova knocked down Triad Kharkongor (76 years) at Lad Smit (East Khasi Hills). Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to NEIGRIHMS.
