Accident
On October 14 at about 10.30 am, one Hyundai i10 (ML-05G-4293) driven by Tensing Nyma (37/M) collided with one Maruti car (ML-05J-8592) driven by Standling Suting (32/M) at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong. As a result, drivers of both the vehicles and one occupant of the Maruti car sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On October 13 at about 10.25 pm, one Maruti car (ML-05N-0181) driven by Kishan Bhattacharjee (24/M) capsized at Boucher Road, Shillong. As a result, the driver sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
On October 13 around 4.30 am, one unknown vehicle knocked down Banraplang Kharkongor (17/M) at 12th Mile, Mylliem (East Khasi Hills). The victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On October 12 around 8.30 am, one tourist taxi Maruti Alto-800 (ML-05M-0965) driven by Dakyrmen Diengdoh (24/M) dashed against one Scooty (ML-05M-8949) ridden by Darisha Pariong (56/F) near MES Point, Rilbong, Shillong. As a result the rider and one pillion rider sustained injuries and were removed to Civil Hospital Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
On October 11 around 10.20 pm, one Bolero (number not known) dashed against one Motorcycle (ML-05M-6029) ridden by Chandra Swagiary (23/M) at Happy Valley, Shillong. The rider sustained injuries and was admitted at Bethany Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
Theft
Harvendra Singh, SDE, BSNL, Tura lodged a complaint that on October 8, he was informed that unknown miscreants stole the earthing strips valued around Rs. 30,000 from a BSNL tower at MBOSE premises, Tura (West Garo Hills).
Misappropriation
On October 2, Sanjay Saraogi of M/S Assam Auto Agency, Shillong lodged a complaint that his employee (cashier) by the name of Tolaram Bhatti alias Mahendra Bhatti misappropriated Rs. 7 lakhs and left Shillong on October 2.
