Computer lab inaugurated at Rilbong School

SHILLONG: F. Kharkongor, Secretary, Education, Government of Meghalaya inaugurated the newly installed computer laboratory with computers donated by Manas Chaudhuri,Ex-MLA and the midday meal kitchen constructed with funding under SSA at Rilbong LP School on Friday. Kharkongor lauded the efforts of the school in providing and maintaining infrastructure required for healthy development of students in all aspects including computer literacy. At the same time he appreciated the school library, writings, paintings and drawings displayed in the “Little Magazine Board”.
The president of the School, Tushar K. Bhattacharjee in his address said that he took great pride seeing the school, which was established in 1928 and where he himself was an alumnus 80 years back, has improved enormously especially in respect of infrastructure. He thanked everybody involved, both past and present, in the development of school. O.Sumer, SSA coordinator, parents and teachers attended the programme.
